Loose Pearls

Here are Loose Pearls for you!  This page will have Pearls from Mabe to Keshi, Akoya to Kasumiga for you to choose from.  The only Freshwater Pearls presented will be Kasumi (Kasumiga) Pearls; all other Pearls will be Saltwater Pearls.

All Pearls are organic and fragile, and require care. South Seas Button Pearl, Black/Purple. 

Not quite so blue as seen here, but more Purple with a highly refletive smooth skin, this Pearl is button shaped and half drilled for mounting as a ring.  It measures 10.10mm across and is an extraordinarily nice Pearl.  It is $125.00. 

Pair of Loose Akoya Black Baroque Drop Pearls. 

Very pretty, one slightly pink, one slightly purple but both have a silvery and coppery overtone.  Close in size, they measure 7mm x 5mm and are close enough in size and color to make a nice pair of earrings.  They are half drilled, so they would also be a good choice for a bypass ring.  The pair together weighs 3.35cts and they are yours for $35.00. 

Pair of Golden Pink Keshi Pearls, #K7. 

More pink than the pictures; they are a Golden Pink with peachy tones in reality.  They measure 11mm x 9mm and 11mm x 8mm respectively and would be fine as earrings or a ring; you choose!  The pair is $50.00. 

Purple Rainbow Kasumiga, Kasumi Pearl 13mm.

Measuring 13mm x 9.8mm x 9.5mm, this Kasumiga is drilled lengthwise for mounting as a pendant, but it would also be possible to mount it as a truly fabulous ring.  The color play doesn't show up here as well as I had hoped it would, but I settled for only cropping the images; there has been no other editing at all.  The purple tones are much more obvious in person.  This magnificent specimen is $235.00. 

16 1/4" Strand of 50 Keishi Pearls, Mixed Colors.  

Wouldn't this be glorious strung with one of my big South Seas Pearls at the center, or more than one used as stations?  Limitless possibilities with this strand of nearly every imaginable color, the drusy surface is unique to this type of Keishi Pearl.  The strand is $200.00.

Bumpy, sparkly, flashy; the list goes on and on!  Ranging in color, shape and surface through all stations of baroque, smooth, drusy, the colors are purple, copper, white, pink, peach, cream and some colors that are just called 'ahhh.'  Temporary strand, nice sizes, this strand is $225.00.

Fantastic temporary strand, ready for you to decide what's next.  Colors range from bronze to white, with all the pink, blonde, lavender and sweet cream you could wish for.  This strand is $200.00. 

15.5mm Blue Mabe Pearl. 

Silvery Blue Mabe Pearl; absolute perfection!  Smooth glossy surface with a very smooth skin and fabulous color saturation, this is a nice big one and yours for $75.00. 

SOLD 12mm x 10mm x 10.5mm Kasumiga Cream Rainbow Pearl. 

Excellent color that didn't photograph as well as it might have, this one is much more colorful in person!  Lovely peachy pink and cream dominate, with rainbow colors surprising you from every angle.  Fully drilled, but mount as you wish!  $215.00. 

13mm x 12mm x 11mm White Rainbow Kasumiga Pearl. 

Magnificent silvery white Kasumiga Pearl with rainbows of oil-slick colors dancing across the surface.  Full drill for stringing or mount as a pendant, this could be used in a ring with careful positioning.  Absolutely beautiful, it is $225.00.

Bi-Color Rainbow Kasumiga Pearl; Kasumi Kasumigaura. 

Those interesting dark golden areas you see in the photos are actually present on the Pearl, they are not a trick of the camera!  This is a bi-color Pearl from Lake Kasumigaura in Japan; those wonderful Kasumi or Kasumiga Pearls that you have been lusting after!  Beautiful smooth skin with lots of interesting growth abnormalities make this one a sure winner.  Bi-color Kasumis are even more rare than single color and this one has that dramatic rainbow effect that is so enchanting.  Full drilled and measuring approximately 12mm x 10mm, this one is $200.00.

SOLD Pink Cream Rainbow Kasumiga Pearl; Kasumi Kasumigaura. 

This one did not photograph as well as it could have; in person it is MUCH more pink that the photos here.  But even in these photos, you can see what a magnificent example of the species it is; glowing rainbow colors, rippled skin with silky thick nacre!  There are no limits to what you can do with this one.  Full drill, it measures 10mm x 12.5mm and it is $215.00.

SOLD Kasumiga Purple Bronze Rainbow Pearl; Kasumi Kasumigaura.

What a prize this one is!!  Magnificent shape, color, skin and size make this Pearl the one to own.  It is a purple bronze base color with glorious rainbow pastels flitting across the surface.  the very baroque shape and rippled skin lends even more elegance and uniqueness to this fabulous Kasumi Pearl.  Full drill, it measures 12mm x 13.5mm and it is $275.00. 

SOLD Kasumiga White Rainbow Pearl; Kasumi Kasumigaura. 

White is more difficult than you might think to acquire in the Kasumi Pearls!  And this one is SO white, with a silvery cream rainbow that has every imaginable pastel color just lurking there, waiting for you to praise its existence.  Rippled skin with very thick, smooth, silky nacre; it's fascinating just to hold it in your hand.  Full drill, it measures 13mm x 11mm and it is $235.00. 

SOLD Kasumiga, Kasumi Lake Pearl, Japan Baroque, 13mm.

How marvelous!  The Kasumi Pearls are so very limited in quantity, having only one lake in which to grow; it is the only freshwater Pearl I will carry.  The center picture best represents the amazing colors on this big beauty; it is golden, cream, pink, green, blue and you name it.  Full drilled, it can be mounted in a ring in such a way to camouflage the drill site, or we can mount a gold head for a stone there and create something marvelous that allows the drill to hide in plain site.  Alternately of course you can have it mounted for a pendant.  It's got a lot of presence with excellent luster and size (13mm!) and that baroque shape that tells whatever story you wish to hear.  Rare Pearl, it is yours for $240.00.

Pr. Little Button Pearls, White Silver Rainbow Pair.

These are so pretty, and while they are not technically a pair, I think it could be gotten away with as a pair of earrings or as accent Pearls to either another Pearl or an entirely different gem.  Possibilities abound!  They are button shaped with silvery white skin with rainbows chasing across the surface.  Drilled through from the side, they are about 5mm and 6mm and the pair is yours for $25.00. 

Pink Keshi Pearl #K10. 

What a sweet little Keshi Pearl!  Rosy, peachy pink with lots of clever surface oddities; it almost looks like it is trying to fold itself lengthwise!  Full drilled lengthwise, it measures 9x7mm and it just one of the prettiest Pearls you've ever seen!  $35.00.

These are beautiful, glowing, lustrous Pink Keshi Pearls with rainbow colors.  They are full side drilled, which allows for a lot of latitude in mounting schemes.  They measure approximately 10mm x 9mm and 9mm x 9mm, and the pair is $50.00.
