Antique Kimono Hakama, Black Wool, WG39.

Pattern: Muji (plain) Hakama for women. The shape is different a man's hakama; as you see in the photos it has no
standing backboard like the men's hakamas.
Comments: This simple wool hakama is traditionally worn for college graduation ceremonies and other formal events. It
is a skirt-type hakama much like men's Andon; this garment is not divided like the trouser-type Kendo or Umanori
hakamas for men.

divided or trouser type. The traditional use is for a girl's college graduation.
