The term 'antique' is used loosely on these pages for the sake of the search engines.  Most searchers use that word instead of 'vintage' and so I have applied it here in order that my items be found by those who are looking for them. 

Antique Advertising Coke Coca Cola Bottle AM Radio ASD105.

Comments: Happily, it does indeed work! It has been a couple of years since I have seen one of these, and a good many collectors haven't ever seen one at all! The bottle is plastic but the cap is metal. In the close up picture of the Coca-Cola side of the bottle, you can see the speaker holes for the radio. Twisting the bottom of the bottle gets you the various AM stations (no FM existed at the time of manufacture, of course) and twisting the top of the bottle at the line where the 'Coke' ends will turn it on or off and adjust your volume. There are no speaker holes in the 'Coke' side of the bottle, so when it is sitting with that face to the front, it appears to only be an old bottle of Coke that is in excellent condition. The plastic of the clear parts of the bottle is that perfect shade of green! The bottom of the bottle tells us that this was MADE IN HONG KONG and further that it was MADE UNDER AUTHORIZATION OF THE COCA-COLA COMPANY. The word VOLUME appears in very small letters along the line where the clear green part of the bottle begins at the top, and the word TUNING appears on the bottom rim. Just above that bottom rim are the station numbers embossed in the dark brown area. Some bottom ring scuffing from shelf wear. It measures the same as any basic hobbleskirt Coke bottle of that time, being just under 8" tall.

Antique Advertising 7 Up Seven Up Wall Clock ASD104.

Comments: This is an electric clock with a sort of 3-D effect from the opening around the main logo. The clock works fine and keeps excellent time. I would say that this one is fairly recent; most likely in the last 15-20 years, but still very cool.

SOLD Antique Advertising Coke Coca Cola Metal Flange Sign ASD103.

Comments: This one is included because it is a bit different, being one that attaches so the sign is perpendicular to the wall instead of flat against the wall. It is from Mexico, as you can see, and most likely not more than 25 years old at most. It is by no means perfect, having its share of scratches in the paint, but it is double sided and very cool.

Antique Advertising 7 Up Seven Up Float Sign ASD102.

Comments: This has enjoyed good storage to be in this condition after all these years. It is cardboard, rather than metal, and as you know, few of the cardboard signs survived. By the logo and the clothing worn by the young girl in the picture, I would date this to the 50's; early 60's at the latest. It has minor surface wear, mostly along the edges; it is possible that it was once larger and trimmed off along the right hand edge. We put it in a poster holder to protect it. Colors are excellent, and graphics are outstanding examples of the period. I believe that this was a section of advertising in a menu board, probably at a soda fountain.
